Walk on the Wild Side Wild Food: Walk, Talk, Make, Eat & Take

  • 10:30 - 15:00
  • 25th May
  • Seven Arts

Join professional wild food forager, Craig Worrall, for a walk on the wild side.

Craig is a fantastic advocate for wild and foraged food, and will educate all participants enthusiastically on the joys of foraging.

You’ll meet at Seven Arts for 10:30, before taking the short walk up to Gledhow Valley Woods. Craig will point out and explain the uses of plenty of wild edibles whilst you’re up in the woods, and you can learn how to identify a range of in-season, gourmet, and wild edible plants, in a foraging walk and discussion whilst you’re up at Gledhow Valley Woods.

At around 13:00, you’ll then return to Seven Arts to create your very own lacto-fermented wild garlic to take home, before sitting down to a bowl of delicious wild soup, bread, cakes and drinks. All food, drink and equipment is included in your ticket price.
